Keith recieved this questionnaire for father's day. I thought I would put it on the blog then each of you (Deanna, Brett, Jason, Debbi and Daniel) can answer at your leisure.
So here goes-
1. What is your favorite memory with your dad?
2. What is one of the best things your father has taught you?
3. What about your father makes you enjoy being with him?
4. How do you know he loves you?
5. How has your father helped your testimony grow?
6. If you could use one word to describe your father what would that word be?

1.One of my favorite memories of dad is when he went on a temple trip and brought me home new hairbows to match my favorite red dress. Another memory that is pretty funny now is when dad "trimmed" my bangs and gave me a mullet. Moms face was horrified as she asked "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE???!!" and dad said "She couldn't see...and she likes it...right Debbi?" And then I smiled at mom with a big smile and said "Yep!" Poor mom. Thanks for curling my mullet in Kindergarten so it wasn't quite as noticable.
ReplyDelete2.I learned a lot of my work ethic from dad. He always has worked very hard. And I remember him telling me to be the best worker and not slack off. That is something that has really helped me and is really valuable to me. I hope to pass this along to my own children.
3. Just one of the reasons I enjoy being with dad now is the way he is with my kids. My kids LOVE grandpa. Thay talk to him on their pretend phone all day long, cry out for him when they have had a bad dream in the middle of the night, and light up when they see him. He is a really fun grandpa and I really enjoy wacthing my kids create such wonderful memories with him.
4.I have always known how much dad loves me how much he cares for me. Dad is a very selfless person and Has always been there to give to me and help me out. I know that he is always there to support my family and I in all of our decisions. Whether he is helping me get a 1st place trophy or moving me to California. No matter how hard it is for him he is willing to do it for me.
5. The way Dad has helped my testimony grow has been a lot through music. He introduced me to music and how it can have such a huge impact on you. I am very grateful for this. Some of the HARDEST times in my life when I have been most tried and tested I was able to geth through becuase of good spiritual and uplifting music.
6.I hate these ONE word questions because really 1 word is never enough so hear are a few....hardworking, giving, supportive, loving, and solid. This list could go on and on but I will leave it at that for now. Love ya Dad! Thanks for all you have done for me!
